Happy Mental Health with Ayesha Reid

Personal Trainer Ayesha Reid, talks all things ‘mindset’ with us – taking care of our minds as well as our body! 

How have you been keeping busy during lockdown?

I was living out in Dubai and had to come back to the UK due to Covid-19. It was here that I started doing free daily workout on my Instagram @ayeshareid to try and keep people’s spirits up and keep people active. With the closure of the gyms I knew this could have a negative impact on people’s mental health, mine included, and I wanted to try to prevent this and give people something postive to focus on. 

There really is no time that we’ve needed to support each other more than right now. Covid 19 has been so cruel to so many people in different ways and I wanted to create something that would bring girls together, getting our bodies fit and our minds healthy. I created my 7 days Fitness in Wellbeing because I believe a healthy mind is just as important, if not more important, as a healthy body! 

What is your 7 days Fitness in Wellbeing Challenge about?

It’s 7 days of 3 live classes a day, in everything from Meditation to Hip Hop cardio to Yoga to HIIT boxing. Bringing you instructors from all around the world, there really is something in there for everyone. 

Not only this but at 7pm (UK time) each evening we have a live chat with top industry professionals discussing diets, mental health, self care, nutrition, positive relationships with food. Talking all things mindset and taking care of our minds as well as our body!
