On Dubai…
I moved to Dubai because my boyfriend lived there but I fell in love so much when I arrived. I love the general day to day life – there is such a high standard wherever you go. Waking up in the beautiful sunshine with so many amenities and options is such a blessing. I can’t imagine been elsewhere now.
On work…
I am Social media, PR and Marketing Specialist working with many big brands / locations & resorts but I also have luxury lifestyle and attire movement ‘Yachtlife’, IG: @yachtlife__
On finding work…
There are so many incredible establishments opening all the time that there is always available work going. And remember, when you start seeing your worth, you’ll find it harder to stay in places that don’t. Promotions and well respected positions at a higher level can be well paid here, so worth putting the hard work in.
On where to live …
Really I can’t be too helpful on accommodation as my partner organised that but we have lived in a few places during my time here and I would say my favourite has been on JRB although I live in Dubai Mall now and that too, it is amazing. I miss the beach as the back garden though.
On recommedations:
Hair and makeup recommendations I can defiantly help with. My fave :)) I love “ The salon in Rixos “ in the Rixos JBR incredible British blow-dries , eyelash extensions and other treatments . Also Pretty WOW opened not long back and they are a stunning ‘Instagramable’ looking salon . Great for bling nails and everything else too. For a low-key relaxed great service appointment I would recommend the salon in The Grosvenor House Hotel.
On shopping…
Hmm fave clothing stores … well I love Rodeo Drive Store . Beach City is a really cute little brand with adorable beach, day and swimwear . Dubai also has all the high street and other major stores from around the world so you can always get what you want.
On Ladies Day and Brunches:
Oh, these Ladies Days Brunches and days are insane I’m a regular at quite a few . Secret Ladies Day at Five Palm is probably a Brit popular choice but for something more chilled Versace Hotel is incredible and Drift and Wetdeck are are amazing days.
