Miss Dubai Loves: Instagrammable Cafes
Dubai loves to create instagrammable spaces, it’s what we do – we created the world’s largest marketing canvas on the Burj Khalifa so it’s kind of our brand, you know?
So when we were tasked with choosing our fave instagrammable cafes, our only issue was – just 5? It was tough to call but we think we’re bang on with these spots. Head to these for some colourful pics on your grid asap!
- Bounty Beets
This addition will come as no surprise but we can’t really make a list of ‘grammable spots and exclude it! Located in Le Meridien Mina Seyahi), Bounty Beets has been a staple of the instagrammable café scene now for quite some time and they’ve just opened a second outlet in Le Meridien near the airport. It’s a hot spot for breakfast and lunch though it is open until 10pm so not to be ruled out for dinner – especially now that they’re licensed. Whether its a light brunch or lunch and cocktails with the girls, Bounty Beets gets it right every time!
- Forever Rose Cafe
‘Am I in a storybook?’ is one of the things you will ask yourself when you step inside this cafe! The gorgeous cafe is a concept is based on a storybook theme. The cafe is developed as a 2D illustration allowing guests to feel as if they are part of a drawing and the unique design makes the real, three-dimensional world look like a flat illustration. The interior uses some clever tricks to fool your eyes. From afar, the décor seems to be entirely monochrome with white floors and tables. The room, cups and plates are all illustrated in black and white, leaving only to allow for food and beverages in color recreating a romantic notion of being a part of a fairytale.
- Saya Caffe
If you follow ELAN café London you’d be forgiven for thinking this is its sister location. Saya Café has 4 locations across Dubai, one of which is a pop-up, all open until late. The Wasl 51 location in Jumeirah offers up two different vibes (read two different IG pic opps) – the girliest, pinkest, prettiest aesthetic contrasts well with the monochrome cartoon / sketch style vibe they’ve got going on.
- Tania’s Teahouse
Okay so it’s not a pre-requisite that instagramable cafes must be pink but there does appear to be a common theme. But I mean, it’s just such a cute colour. Tania’s has been a regular in the café scene since around 2017. Known for being a baby shower / bridal shower favourite (they have an upstairs bit perfect for this), their tea menu alone is beyond extensive. Their food menu has lots of options but not overwhelmingly so (Cheesecake Factory, I’m talking to you hun). They are called cute names like “scone with the wind” and if you care enough to pun then you’ve got our attention.
- Brunch & Cake
Name checks out. A relative newbie, Brunch & Cake has exploded over the last 12 months and now has 3 locations including at The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah. Their tagline is “In Grandma we trust” and you know what? Anywhere that respects Granny is our kind of spot. The menu is huge with delicious vegan options and colourful main dishes (the chef definitely created this menu with Instagram in mind). We’d go there for the crockery alone, call us basic but throw in some marble, gold and geometric vibes and we’ll be there taking a flatlay quicker than you can say food blogger! And if you didn’t know, cutting cake with a wine glass is now a thing and brunch & cake make it a cute affair.
- Vibe UAE
Another spot heavy on the pink and not just with their interior aesthetic – they even went as far as to create a pink plant based pizza. Is there anything more 2021 than a millennial pink, keto, plant based pizza? Honestly, no. If pink pizza isn’t your style then not to worry, there’s plenty of other delicious options – many of which are healthy and plant based. Breakfast or brunch is a great option at Vibe, we particularly love the pancakes which are delicious as well as pretty. Vibe has two locations, Al Wasl and DIFC with the latter being licensed so you can enjoy a cocktail along with your insta worthy brunch.
