When it comes to celebrations, for many in Dubai, brunch is the go to weapon of choice. And we love brunch, we really do but for those that don’t enjoy brunching or simply want an alternative, there are so many other options. Check out our tried and tested brunch alternatives, perfect for that special celebration!
- Brunch at home
Fancy doing a party at home? Why not put on your own brunch? Whether you won’t to go the full works and get outside caterers in (it’s worth noting that many restaurants also do event catering options too from meal drops to full fine dining delivery) or a pot luck dinner where everyone brings a dish, doing it at home adds that extra special element that a brunch en masse can’t offer.
- Beach, please
With so many pools and beach clubs at our disposal, it would be rude not to include a chic beach club or pool day in our list, really. We are lucky to have some stunning locations in Dubai which offer that celebratory party vibe – from Nammos to Nikki Beach, you can lounge by the pool or beach while being served your favourite drinks.
- Hire a penthouse or villa
Sure, a party at home is fun, but a party in someone else’s home is more fun! Have a hunt around and you’ll find great offers on everything from penthouses with pools to expansive villas on the beach.
- Go for a staycay!
Hear us out – not all staycays are for couples and not all of them are outrageously expensive. In fact, UAE hotels have some great all inclusive deals, making it a great option for a celebration, one price and not a penny more. With many of the thriftiest all inclusive deals being predominantly in other emirates, it also gives you that real holiday energy while only being a short drive away!
- Private dining
Restaurants often have group rates and fine dining rooms to make a special occasion even more special. It is worth contacting your favourite restaurant and asking if they can put a bespoke package together for your celebration.
